Toyota Mirai road test will be launched in Europe

According to Phoenix Motor, Toyota recently released a group of photos of its fuel cell vehicle Mirai undergoing road test in the cold zone of Scandinavia, which shows that Toyota is preparing for the release of the vehicle in Sweden and Norway.

From the end of 2015 to the beginning of this year, Toyota Mirai, as the first fuel cell vehicle to enter the European market, began to be sold in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Belgium and other countries. In Toyota's layout, the new car will be released in Norway and Sweden this summer, and will enter the Dutch market later. For Norway, hydrogen-fueled vehicles are not completely new. Five hydrogen refueling stations have been built in the eastern part of the country, and by 2020, this number will reach more than 20.

Toyota plans to sell 3000 Mirai by 2017, and by 2020, the sales volume of the car is expected to exceed 30000. Contrary to this ambitious plan, the performance of new cars in the North American market is very strong, and more than 1900 orders have been received.

At the recent New York International Auto Show, Mirai hydrogen fuel cell vehicle won the honor of "2016 Global Green Car". The power output of the car is about 155 horsepower (about 114 kW), and the acceleration time of 100 kilometers is about 9.6 seconds. Mirai can drive 300 miles (about 483 kilometers) in a single hydrogen refueling, and the operation process does not emit carbon dioxide, while a hydrogen refueling takes about three minutes.
